Homemade Remedies for Eczema

Eczema which is also known as dermatitis is the inflammation of the skin which is common among children. Eczema causes severe itching, dryness, redness and skin flaking. It also causes small bumps on the forehead, neck and cheeks.

Care should be taken as smoke, chemicals, detergents, solvents and other such irritants can aggravate this condition. Changes in the weather, extreme stress and heat can also cause this condition to severe.

Wash and rinse your clothes properly to remove residual detergent or other solvents like cleaning liquid from them if they come in contact with your skin they can aggravate eczema. Here are a few simple and natural home remedies to alleviate causes of eczema.

Home Remedies for Dermatitis:

1 # Margosa Leaves and Turmeric Powder: Margosa leaves is also known as Neem leaves have an inherent quality to cure skin ailments.

How to:
Crush a handful of Margosa leaves in a bowl
Add one tablespoon of turmeric powder to it
Mix them well and apply the paste on the affected areas

2 # Mustard Oil and Margosa Leaves: For chronic eczema it is advisable to use Margosa oil. 

How to:
To make Margosa oil
Take 200 grams of mustard oil
Add 50 grams of Margosa leaves
Pour the mustard oil in an iron vessel when the oil begins to boil add the Margosa leaves
Allow it oil to cool down the filter the leaves
Apply this oil 3 to 4 times a day
Continue for year to prevent reoccurrence of eczema

3 # Aloe Vera Home Remedy for Dermatitis: Aloe vera gel is very effective in treating eczema you can either purchase it or make some yourself.

How to:
Take an aloe vera leaves
dethroned the outer skin
The transparent stuff inside its Aloe Vera gel
Apply this gel gently on the affected area
Leave it as it is for about 30 minutes
Repeat this twice a day

4 # Coconut Oil Home Remedies for Dermatitis:

How to:
Wash your hands thoroughly and pat them dry
Apply some coconut oil on the affected area and rub it gently
Leave it on for some time or till dry
Repeat 2 to 3 times a day

5 # Jojoba Oil Home Remedies for Dermatitis:

How to:
Apply some jojoba oil on the affected area
Massage it gently
Leave it on for some time or till it dry
Repeat 2 to 3 times a day

6 # Honey Natural Home Remedy for Eczema:

How to:
Wash your hands thoroughly and pat them dry
And apply some thin layer honey on the affected area
Leave it on for about 20 to 30 minutes then wash it off with cool water
Repeat 2 to 3 times a day

7 # Oatmeal Home Remedy for Eczema:

How to:
Add 1 cup of oatmeal powder in a bath tub
Soak for about 15 to 20 minutes
Repeat this daily for about 1 month

8 # Apple Cider Vinegar:

How to:
Take equal amount of water and apple cider vinegar
Mix it well and use a cotton pad to apply this on the affected area
Leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes
Then clean with a damp cotton pad
Repeat this daily for about 1 month

9 # Neem leaves, Sesame Oil and Turmeric Powder:

How to:
Take 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
1 tablespoon of turmeric powder
1 tablespoon of ground Neem leaves
Mix them well and make a fine paste
Apply the paste on the affected area
Leave it on for 1 to 2 hours
Then wash it off with a normal water
Repeat this daily for about 1 month

10 # Turmeric Powder for Eczema:

How to:
Heat 4 cup of water
Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
Boil it for few minutes
Drink once it’s cool
Repeat this daily for about 1 month
