Indigestion is a name given to an upset stomach or dyspepsia. In this a person experiences discomfort in the upper abdominal area. Indigestion also leads to belching, nausea and a bloated feeling in the stomach even if the patient has not eaten allot.

Indigestion is usually a result of gastritis or GERD. It is also one of the first symptoms of peptic ulcer disease and in some cases even cancer. 1. Cumin Seeds Home Remedy:

  • Add two tablespoon of cumin seeds to 4½ cups of water.
  • Boil the water for about five minutes.
  • Let the water cool down and then strain it.
  • Drink an entire glass of this water twice a day.

2. Honey and Lemon Home Remedy:

  • Take a glass of warm water.
  • Add one teaspoon of lemon juice.
  • Mix one teaspoon of honey.
  • Drink this water after every meal.

3. Coriander Leaves and Cardamom Powder Home Remedy:

  • Take a few crushed coriander leaves also known as (Dhania).
  • Place it on the sieve and extract its juice.
  • Take a glass of buttermilk.
  • Add ½ a teaspoon of cardamom powder also known as (Ilaichi powder).
  • Mix three teaspoons of coriander juice.
  • Drink this one hour after each meal.

4. Jaggery Home Remedy:

  • Jaggery also is known as (Gur) prevents constipation by aiding digestion.
  • Eat a piece of Jaggery after every meal.
